Flip The Switch
Take it from me; college sports are a whole different game. I had enjoyed a great high school lacrosse career starting on varsity for three years and winning a county championship. I expected to enjoy the same success the minute I stepped on the field at Stony Brook University. The only problem was that I didn't’ know what it took to compete with players who were two, three, even four years older than I was, I just didn't know how to prepare.

Because of this I spent my entire freshman year watching from the sidelines; as a 250 pound close defenseman I was unable to catch up to the level of conditioning my teammates reached. This was the first time I was unable to contribute to the team I was on my entire career.

I was determined to be as successful in college as I was in high school. I worked hard to learn every drill and technique I could use to get myself in the kind of shape I needed to step onto the field.

The following year I was in a position to earn playing time, and I did so mostly because of my conditioning. I changed positions and because of the conditioning program I used earned a starting position on a Division 1 team.

I went on to enjoy an amazing career at Stony Brook University, being a part of a team ranked in the STX/USILA as high as number 12 in Division 1 over the three years following.

Now that I am done with my playing career I am have moved onto a college coaching career. I still compete every day but now I do it by making players better. I have gotten together with some great coaches and put together a conditioning program, using all the methods I learned over the past years that will no doubt put you in position to take your game to the next level.
